Lantern spectacular returns this weekend
THE end of Winter is nigh, and that means that the Dalby’s Delicious & DeLIGHTful Festival is back again. This weekend August 26 and 27, the town of Dalby in south east Queensland will host their annual festival, featuring multicultural food and live entertainment ending with a spectacular lantern parade.
The lantern spectacular and fireworks display will play out along the banks of the beautiful Myall Creek, the waterway that runs through the centre of the town. This years lantern Parade will have to be seen to be believed with its prehistoric theme.
There will also be food markets, as well as a variety of stalls and a bevy of entertainment; from a local school choir, to the National Conservatoire Ballet Company, a fashion parade and even a Scottish piper.
