Touted as the 'other woman' in many relationships across the country, Christina Duddy is the secret behind many love stories. The Western Queensland entrepreneur, farmer’s wife and young mother has recently launched The Diamond Hunter – a game-changing entry to the Australian diamond jewellery market... and clients are flocking to her from near and far.

Christina launched The Diamond Hunter with the aim of helping her clients find the perfect engagement ring in confidence, free from the sales pitch and focused on great quality for the best possible price. Based on a farming and cattle property in Goondiwindi with her husband and two young boys, Christina is embracing the strong demand for The Diamond Hunter.
“What started out as a lightbulb moment in the middle of the night has been validated by a strong response for The Diamond Hunter,” Christina said. The brand and all it encompasses has resonated loudly with many people. Clients searching for old-fashioned, personalised and trustworthy service have come in droves, and not only from rural Queensland.
“From Eagle Street to Circular Quay, Tamworth to Cairns, and even Western Australia, clients have emailed or called with no idea where to start, but wanting to invest in a beautiful engagement ring or diamond jewellery from someone they can trust to guide them,” she said.
Christina said it was her unequivocal interest in diamonds and passion for helping people create that perfect proposal moment that lead her to launching her exciting new business. “The Diamond Hunter is essentially a personal engagement ring concierge who acts on behalf of a client to source high-quality, certified diamonds at the sharpest possible price. I then work with private jewellers on design and make, progressing through to delivering a little black box, discreetly of course,” Christina said.
Offering a personalised service based on integrity and serving client interests objectively, The Diamond Hunter has filled a void in a traditionally conservative industry. But don’t call Christina a diamond ring consultant. “Making the decision to propose and purchase an engagement ring is a very intimate process. I don’t consult to my clients, I collaborate with them,” Christina said. The fast-growing popularity of The Diamond Hunter comes down to Christina’s collaborative approach and trustworthy service. She also believes that living in a rural setting has benefitted her business.

“I love that I can operate a rurally-based business with national reach,” Christina said. “I highly value the community we live in and the country spirit which permeates through my offering, which is winning hearts and bringing me satisfaction in equal measure.” The Diamond Hunter also accommodates those that don’t like surprises, working with couples that both want a say in the dream ring!
